Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Lionheart Small Batch Rye Whiskey
- 1/2 oz. brown sugar simple syrup
- 1/2 oz. Yes Cocktail Co. ginger citrus cocktail mixer
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- 3/4 oz. ruby port wine
- ice
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker half full with ice, combine whiskey, simple, cocktail mixer, and lemon juice.
- Shake thoroughly until the outside of the shaker feels frosty.
- Pour through a strainer into rocks glass full of ice.
- Pour port over back side of a bar spoon to top off the cocktail.
- Tap the glass or tap the bar spoon to the top of the cocktail to level out the port in the glass. Do not stir. Enjoy!
